What is my 'primary email account'?
The first email account you create is called your 'primary email account'. Once you have decided on your primary email address, it cannot be changed (although you can of course create up to 11 other email accounts in any name you choose, and change those whenever you like). The first part of your primary email account is your User name, eg johnsmith@homechoice.co.uk.
How do I change my primary email address?
You cannot change your primary email address once it has been set. However, although you will need your primary email address to access your account, you can always set up another address as the one you will use most frequently.
How can I create a secondary email account?
Go to manage account/registerand click on Create new email account.
How can I delete a secondary email account?
Go to the Manage your email and webspace page and you will find a list of your secondary email accounts. Choose the email account you want to delete and click delete.
How do I change my secondary email addresses?
To delete an address and create another one in its place, go to manage account/register.
How long/short should my email address be?
The name or phrase you enter for your email address should have between 5 and 30 characters with no capital letters and no gaps.
How much space is available for my email account?
You have up to 15MB of space per email account.
What happens when I reach my email space limit?
Each email account has a limit of 15MB of space. Once this limit has been reached you will need to reduce the number of emails that are held on our servers.
If you are using a POP email client like Outlook Express, the normal setting is to download emails onto your computer and automatically delete them from our servers every time you log in to your email account.
However, POP email clients can be set to download your emails onto your computer but not delete them from our servers, hence using up all your email space allocation. If this is the case, you will need to reset your POP email client to download your emails and then delete them from our servers.
