Setting up internet Explorer
Click on the "Start" bar, go up to "Settings" and then click on "Control Panel". This will open the main control panel in all versions of Windows, except for Windows XP. In XP it's simply "Start" then "Control Panel".
Once in the Control Panel select "internet Options", this will bring up a screen like this:

Select the "Connections" tab, you will then see something similar to this:

Highlight the Homechoice connection in the white window, then make sure that "Always Dial My Default Connection" is selected and (if the Homechoice option does not have default written next to it already) click on the "Set Default" button.
Next (with the Homechoice connection still highlighted) click on "settings", you will get a screen similar to this one, configure it exactly as shown (ensuring that both "Use a proxy server" and "Bypass proxy server for local addresses" are ticked) then click on the "Advanced" button (the top one if there are two).

This will bring up a screen similar to below, but possibly blank, complete the details in the top line (HTTP) exactly as shown and then tick the box for "Use the same proxy settings for all protocols". This will change the screen as shown below. Then click on "OK".

You should then see a screen as below (note the details on the proxy settings have automatically transferred into the boxes on this section). Click "OK". Close all open screens.
Launch Internet Explorer which should automatically ask you to connect using the Homechoice connection (note the Username and Password are NOT required to connect and can be left blank if you prefer, click "Connect" at this point and you will be able to start browsing.
