Manually Creating your Email Account (Outlook 2000)
Open Microsoft Outlook, select Tools from the menu bar, then click Accounts to continue to the next screen.

Select Mail, click Add and select Mail.

Enter your name and click Next.

Enter your email address and click Next.

Select My incoming mail server is a POP3 server
Enter Incoming mail: pop.Homechoice.co.uk
Enter Outgoing mail: smtp.Homechoice.co.uk

Enter your Account name (the first part of the email address before the @ sign). Enter your own password and click Next.

Select 'I will establish my internet connection manually' and click Next.

E-mail should be displayed in the internet account window.

Click close to complete set-up.
Configuring Outlook
Select Tools from the menu bar. Click Accounts to continue to the next screen.

Highlight your Homechoice account and select Properties.

Click General. Check your email address.

Click Server.
Enter Incoming mail: pop.Homechoice.co.uk
Enter Outgoing mail: smtp.Homechoice.co.uk

Click Connection.
Select Connect using my phone line.
Under Modem, ensure Tiscali connection is selected.

Click Advanced.
This should default to the most suitable settings and should not require alteration. However, you may wish to extend the Server Timeout to 2 minutes 30 seconds.
Click OK to return to Outlook menu.
