Installation

There's no need to read complicated manuals or worry about setting up the service incorrectly because one of our trained engineers will install it for you.

The engineer will come to your home approximately 14 days after you've placed your order at a pre-arranged convenient time.

As the Tiscali TV connection will be made via your existing BT phone line, we don't need to make any physical alterations to the line that comes into your house.

We provide the set top box along with any adapters that are needed for installation. The set top box has a built-in modem so no additional hardware is required to allow you to have broadband access on your PC and digital TV and on-demand movies and TV on your television.

The engineer will connect the set top box to your TV, computer and phone line so that Tiscali TV is ready to use. If you need any further advice on installing programmes on your PC, our expert Technical Team is on standby to offer you advice over the phone.

Phone calls setup

Your phone calls will be up and running approximately 14 days after our engineers install your Tiscali TV and broadband service.

You don't need to do a thing and there's no need for another engineer visit to your home. We set up the service remotely for you and will send you a letter with the exact live date from which you'll start to enjoy our phone service.

Wireless installation

Unlike other broadband providers, a Tiscali TV engineer will install our wireless internet installation for you so you don't need to worry about setting it up yourself.

Computer minimum specifications

PC users:

• Processor: Pentium 266 or above
• CD drive
• Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 or Windows XP
• Minimum 64MB RAM memory
• Monitor should be set to display 256 colours or more
• A free Ethernet port or USB port to connect to the Tiscali TV set-top box (an optional Ethernet port to USB connector is available)
