Rebooting your set top box

Also should you experience problems, or your set top box has no light, rebooting your set top box may help. to do this:

1

Switch off your set top box using the on/off power button on the top of the box. The light on your set top box will now go red.

2

Wait for 2 minutes, and then turn your set top box back on using the on/off power button on the top. Two things may now happen:

  1. The light on your set top will flash red, turn to a steady red and then go off, or
  2. Turn a steady blue (skip to step 4)
3

If the light on your set top box has gone off, point your Homechoice remote at the set top box and press the Homechoice 'logo' button on the top right of your remote. The light on your set top box should first flash blue and then change to a steady blue.

4

Your set top box will now start up and you will see a 'countdown' screen appear. After the countdown is finished, your Homechoice service should be working as normal.

If you have tried rebooting your set top box and are still experiencing problems with your Homechoice service, please call our Customer Care team on 0845 678 33 33.
