The homeplug transmits Tiscali broadband in the home without having to run additional wiring.
Instead, adapters plug into the existing wall power sockets and communicate with the computers in your home to allow them to access the internet.
Homeplug Installation
By using the existing mains wiring in your home, the homeplugs offer a simple way to create a home network, connecting the computers in your home to your Tiscali broadband connection from anywhere in the house.
The homeplugs use the mains power supply to transmit data, rather than radio waves that wireless solutions use. The homeplugs supports data rates up to 14 Mbps and are particularly well suited to homes with thick walls or steel obstacles where wireless transmission can be poor. No drilling is required and a Tiscali engineer will install it for you.
The Homeplug starter kit for connecting 1 PC costs £89.99 including installation. Please note that this installation can only be ordered by calling a member of our Sales Team on 0800 072 4454. Additional PCs need an adapter to be installed and this costs an additional £29.99.
